It has been pretty busy, Steve's mobility has gotten worse so he has now been approved for a motorised wheelchair. He has a new occupation therapist and she is great. She is right on top of all the paperwork and everything. She is an older lady and really knows what she is doing. She came out to our home to meet Steve along with his support coordinator and the wheelchair technician. They tested him in several different models until they found the right one for him.

He should get the wheelchair in a couple of weeks as it is being funded by the NDIS.

Other than that, we have been doing our usual stuff, gym for me, physio for Steve. We have met his new support worker as well. She is a lovely lady and she and Steve hit it off straight away. My doctor has also put me on a new medication for anxiety and OCD, it all stems from my ASD. I am

I finally got to see StopMotion and Late Night With The Devil. I enjoyed them both along with Imaginary, but Late Night With The Devil is definitely my favourite. David Dastmalchian was brilliant as the late night host and I hope he does get more lead roles.

That's about it, hope everyone has a great week

It's Sunday and it's the first day Steve and I have actually been able to have a day at home. Yesterday I went to Campbelltown to the movies with one of my daughters and grandkids, we saw Elemental which was much better than I thought it was going to be. It was a nice change from all the medical appointments and therapies for Steve. He didn't come out with me, kids movies are not his thing so he spent the day doing some stuff he wanted to do. The weather has turned really cold now so the barbecues and picnics are changing to baked dinners and pub lunches.

I have also been going to the movies, I have seen Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse which was excellent, and also The Flash which I loved. Shazam 2 and Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 were also fun. It certainly is a good time to be a geek.

Speaking of which, I am not going to SupaNova and Oz Comicon this year as the ticket prices have soared and I decided I would rather spend the money on comics and collectibles these days. The downside of being retired I guess.

Well, that has been my week so far. If I get time, I will try to do some Geeky Girl posts, but things have been so hectic with all of Steve's appointments. I also want to do some reviews on older, more obscure movies as well, I am been finding some on Youtube and Tubi.

Have a great well everyone.

It's been a pretty busy week, mostly medical appointments for Steve and myself. I had to have a CT scan this morning and I am still waiting to hear from the hospital for the colonoscopy and the endoscopy. I am getting them through the hospital because they are covered by Medicare. It also turns out that Steve definitely does have Angina, our doctor has given him a spray to use when the pain is bad. It does work so it should give him some relief. At least he doesn't have to get a stent put in yet, so that's good.

Also in non medical news, one of our upstairs neighbours moved out and left all her stuff behind. I didn't really know her, her partner told us that she was really sick and in hospital, apparently she has gone to live with her parents and has given up the unit. For some reason, they didn't get her things so St George Housing cleared the unit out. They put a few pot plants out on the side of the road so Steve and I adopted them. They were just going to end up in landfill. Even though I did not know her that well, I hope she will be all right. I wonder why her parents did not get her clothes at least.

I am going to go and see the new Spider-Man movie tomorrow so I am stoked about that.

Sorry, I haven't posted for a little while but Steve and I have been dealing with health stuff. It turns out that Steve was on the verge of having a heart attack. This happened a couple of weeks ago. He started having chest pains and I called an ambulance. It turns out that he has a narrowing of the aorta ventricle and angina. He is on aspirin and he does have to have regular checks. We ended up going away for a few days up to Nelson Bay which is beautiful. Steve was a little disappointed with where we stayed but I loved it. It rained most of the time we were there but we still had a great time.

Other than this, there hasn't been a lot happening. I watched Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 and I enjoyed it. Thanks for giving us a good backstory for Rocket. I am excited for The Flash movie as well.

I have been having a monster clown film festival the last couple of days. The weather has been miserable, nothing but rain and I have not been getting many shifts at work. Because the house has been so quiet with only me here, my youngest has been staying with a friend over the holidays, I have been parked on the couch watching movies.
I started off with Blood Dolls, that has a creepy clown butler, then went on to It, The Clown At Midnight, the entire Killjoy series and Demonic Toys that has the scariest Jack In The Box EVER!
Now onto Killer Clowns From Outer Space, Funfair, Clowns and Clownhouse.
What is wrong with me? I don't even like clowns. O_o
Still, it's a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon.
