Steve finally got his dentures, top and bottom and the dentist didn't charge him the extra four hundred dollars so the vouchers must have covered them. I ended up with three fillings, thank god he didn't have to pull another tooth. My teeth are crap because of a medication I was given as a baby. (I was a very sickly child and I was always in and out of the hospital.) I will get my dentures in the next week or so, hopefully before we go away.

Steve and I are feeling pretty crappy today. I am supposed to go to my granddaughter's netball sports gala but I have a feeling I am going to have to cancel. It's a shame as I really enjoy spending time with my kids and grandkids.

Looks like we are both going to have to have a COVID test, ugh. Fingers crossed it's just the flu, that and we haven't really had a day at home to rest.

Today we are just chilling, I am watching the new Queer As Folk, and to be honest, I am not loving it. I think they are just trying to cram in too much and not giving the story and characters room to breathe. I prefer the original UK and US series.

Well, now I am off for a nap.

Steve finally had the last of his dental work done. Another tooth extraction and four fillings. He is now waiting on his top and bottom dentures. Hopefully, it won't take too long.

He has also had the EEC done and there are no signs of seizures or tumours, thank god) but it now means more tests. We think it's just the Dystonia but you never know.

One good thing, Steve has been cleared to get a lift bed. It will mean that he doesn't have to use the bed frame anymore and it will make it so much easier for him to get in and out of bed.

The weather here has been crazy, with massive rainfall and flooding, then really nice weather. The beautiful bottle brush near our kitchen window came down. All the birds we have been feeding are now having to perch on the balcony railing.

I am hoping to be able to plant another tree there if I can, we love having trees near us for the shade and the wildlife. This is the fourth tree that has come down since I moved here. Steve is thinking of planting tiger grass to help absorb the excess moisture and hopefully stop the trees from uprooting and collapsing. Fingers crossed.
